Glass

Tripoli Pods are made from hot blown glass and solid steel rod, hand bent armatures. Each piece is unique. This series is shown as sculpture on a pedestal, hung from the ceiling by a sinewy steel stem and lit with a light or lit from the sun, sprouting from a pond, attached to a heavy steel and concrete base.
